The Maker
Trained in Applied Arts and holding a Bachelor in Textile and Fashion Design, french maker Sarah trained and worked in renowned Italian costume houses as well as with Irish embroidery and bridal designers. Her work is driven by a deep passion for beading, embroidery, and textile art, and shaped by an admiration for Haute-Couture embroidery designers such as Lesage or Rébé.
Her interest in ancient civilizations and indigenous symbols stems from a childhood shaped by travel and cultural immersion, particularly in Africa, alongside parents who valued meaningful encounters with different cultures.
Through Syfrana, she reinterprets these influences in her own way, creating unique pieces that carry meaning, heritage, and speak for themselves.
